SUBLIME: [Rhineland Arc]: The Ironclad
Flamethrowers are completely horrifying.
Imagine yourself inside the trenches in a war, where the militarized production achieves levels of destruction, that you couldn't even fathom to this point.
What would be your first reaction, seeing tongues of flames that set your friends and comrades ablaze?
Advancements in technology are first and foremost used, to improve your capabilities in the international competition for supremacy, amongst the states.
That means, that they'll do anything they can, to achieve this goal, even if it means unleashing horrors beyond human comprehension.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Ironclad:
Even though it is wielded and brought up by Theopians [a country which considers itself the most holy place in existence ((Theo(logy)/-(Uto)pia))], the Flamethrower was considered by many as an ungodly tool.
Spitting fire like a mythical beast.
One man became enthralled by it.
The wounds he suffered, the madness he endured.
None of it matters in the righteous blaze of the flame.
A faith in the warmth, a remembrance of the days, where you were cradeled in your mothers arms.
They all need to see. They all need to feel.
Feel the same warmth he is feeling.
The same warmth that helps him survive this all.
Spreading his flame like the pestilence itself.
