Bamboo took over OCHO The Showroom
With a pioneering Madrid project at the heart of it

Last Thursday in Madrid, we teamed up with @vallsfusta and @floter_tarimas for an evening dedicated to bamboo and new ways of building.

Pablo van der Lugt, specialist in biobased construction, opened the evening with sustainability, innovation and where bamboo fits into the future of construction.

Lucía Ortiz de Galisteo López, principal architect at @batlleiroig then showed what that future looks like today with Vita Student Madrid, a student residence built with bamboo.

The room stayed full long after the last slide.
