Being hired for an event doesn’t mean you own the content or its timeline. Sometimes, the event owner is simply not ready to share. Please don’t post anything before their official contents are out
Capture the moment, but respect the owner’s timeline. Seek permission, show professionalism, and remember that collaboration is not competition. You were hired to capture their moments, not take over their content.
Before I put out any event video I make sure either the client or the planner has posted and I have the clients permission to post. We have a lot of premium jobs that didn't even make it to the social media because clients said NO and we chose to respect their privacy.
