Alex “Zander” Mei

First few casts with the @dranckrazy Bushidan Zanrai rod prototype. An absolute beast of a stick at 8’1” and designed for the biggest swimbaits from 5-22oz. and yet it still seems surprisingly light and capable of slinging lighter baits.

It is able to sling these mid sized baits due to a ln interesting load effect. The company built these rods from the ground up and uses some proprietary resins with @toray_fishing carbon and glass materials which is designed to improve weight and form factors. Features a carbon seat and Fuji SiC guides paired with carbon fiber grips that are finished with proprietary machined components. Can’t wait to see what the Zanrai can do targeting Fall fish this season.
