الفوكس (Focus) هو ضبط وضوح الشخص أو العنصر المطلوب في الصورة.

الـ Focus Puller (1st AC) مسؤول عن الحفاظ على الوضوح مع حركة الممثل، أو نقل الفوكس من شخص للتاني لتوجيه انتباه المشاهد.

المهمة بتصعب مع فتحات العدسة الواسعة زي f/1.4، لأنها بتخلّي الخلفية ضبابية ومساحة الوضوح أضيق، فأي حركة بسيطة ممكن تخرج الممثل من الفوكس.

عشان كده بيستخدم جهاز Wireless Follow Focus للتحكّم في فوكس العدسة عن بُعد.

والوظيفة دي ممكن تكون خطوة في طريق الاحتراف كمصور أو مدير تصوير (DOP). 🎥

Why does a film set need a dedicated Focus Puller? 🎬

Focus determines which subject appears sharp and clear in the frame.

The Focus Puller (1st AC) keeps actors in focus as they move and shifts focus between subjects to guide the audience’s attention.

Wide apertures like f/1.4 create a shallower depth of field and blurrier backgrounds, making precise focusing more challenging.

Using a Wireless Follow Focus system, they adjust the lens focus remotely throughout the shot.
