A dream, a little birthday magic, and a whole lot of LOVE! 💕🎂🕊️

My girl Cary 's dream was to celebrate her daughter’s Sweet 16 at Waterside. Although we didn’t have the big Sweet 16 celebration her mom had envisioned, I wanted to make sure we created a moment that would be just as special, meaningful, and memorable. ❤️

I told Mercedes I was taking her and four of her girlfriends out to dinner at Waterside for a little birthday celebration. 🎂💕 But what she didn’t know was that I had a little surprise up my sleeve! 🤭 Her family, cousins, aunties, and some of her mom’s dear friends were all coming together to celebrate her and shower her with LOVE ❤️ And let me tell you… THE VILLAGE SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT! 🎉💕

What made the evening so beautiful wasn’t the size of the celebration, but the LOVE that filled the room. The smiles, the laughter, the hugs, everyone singing Happy Birthday, and seeing Mercedes surrounded by people who genuinely love and care about her. Those are the moments that become memories she’ll carry forever. ❤️

Today, on your actual birthday, Mercedes, I hope you know just how loved, cherished, and celebrated you are. Your mom may not be here physically, but the love she planted in so many hearts continues to surround you. And I hope you always remember that you have a village that will continue to show up for you, cheer you on, and remind you just how special you are.

To everyone who answered the call, showed up, and helped make this evening special, THANK YOU! It truly takes a village, and what a beautiful village she has! I may have brought everyone together, but it was each of you showing up with love that made the night so memorable. ❤️

And to my dear friend in heaven… Girl, we made it to Waterside! 🕊️💕 Your baby girl was celebrated, surrounded by love, and smiling. I know you were smiling right along with us. We may not have done it exactly how you imagined, but we made sure your girl felt every bit of the LOVE! Help me keep making Mercedes feel loved today on her birthday !
