My first large sculpture of a Yokai for deco prop at our next Night of the Yokai anime dance party Oct 24th!

I started with cardboard for the framing and built up the shape with crumpled paper and painters tape. Next came 3 layers of paper mache and a final layer of plaster gauze strips before painting. The teeth were sculpted EVA foam and the hands were a soft packing foam with sculpted foam clay on top. Really happy with how this came out! @asylumdrax will be adding El wire to the eye sockets soon!
