It’s wild… this page started as a car page when I got my F30 BMW. I had a vision for it, but it never really took off. I kept blaming my motivation, but deep down, I knew what it was: I wasn’t truly happy with the car.
I needed something for work and got lucky—a 2018 lease return with less than 30k miles. Made it look how I wanted, then pretty much forgot about all the plans I had for it.
The problem? I was spoiled. 😂
Before the BMW, I owned a 2012 Mitsubishi Evo X pushing well over 500 AWHP. That car was my crown jewel. Babied, maintained, and cared for like you wouldn’t believe. The power, the feeling, the smile every time I drove it… I was hooked.
But growing up had other plans, and ultimately, I had to let it go. Regretted it from the day it left. Still wonder where that car would be today if I’d kept it.
That’s what I’d been missing all these years. That feeling behind the wheel.
Well, allow me to introduce my unicorn…
Mark 21, aka Mrk21—my 2012 Subaru WRX STI Limited. 🔴
Found this baby with LESS THAN 32K ORIGINAL MILES!!!! And the best part? I connected with both the original and second owners, confirming I’m the third owner, with the history behind those miles and a few tasteful mods already included.
Huge shoutout to @carvana! This was easily one of the quickest and easiest car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. Almost everything was online, I barely had to speak to anyone, and I got a great car at a great value. When an issue came up, they immediately made sure it was taken care of. Couldn’t be happier with the entire process!
This car also brought me back to my man D and the crew over at @primemotoring. They went through it with compression and smoke testing, plus a comprehensive inspection of the other parts and systems. Knowing what I’m starting with makes this that much sweeter.
I’m looking forward to driving with a smile on my face again and seeing where this build takes me.
Another layer to the content: DIY videos, upgrades, and everything that comes with making this car my own. And hopefully, reconnecting with some old friends along the way.
