Emissary Quartet

EQ update: We have some bittersweet news to share. This season (2026-2027) will be @sarahshinflute ‘s last with Emissary Quartet.

As a founding member of EQ, Sarah had been such an important pillar of this group. Her musicianship, creativity, and care have shaped Emissary Quartet from the beginning. We are so grateful for everything we have built and shared together.

It’s hard to imagine EQ without her! At the same time, we’re very excited for what’s next for Sarah, and will be cheering her on as she begins this new chapter!

Sarah, thank you for sharing your music, friendship, and everything you’ve poured into this group. It won’t be the same without you!

Be sure to catch Sarah’s last season with EQ this Fall in Boston (Sunday, October 25th at 5:30pm) and in the Spring in Dallas. Check out the link in our bio for more info.
