POSTS STORIES REELS

Excited to share this CD that’s been many years in the making!! This was supposed to be recorded back in 2019 but life & COVID happened and I was lucky to be able to record it last year and see it all come out today! I even wrote the cadenzas 😆 with the help of my mentor Bart Feller 💕

There aren’t enough words and love for me to express how much gratitude I have for everyone that’s helped me along the way. Thank you 💛💛

It’s on all the platforms! I hope you enjoy it 💕

Thank you all for the support with our (@emissaryquartet) debut album [moment]um! 💖 the amount of love we’ve been getting has been surreal. It was fun performing the album rep for the first time since the release at the 2026 NFA convention and especially special because composer @chankaiyoung.composer came to the performance! 💛✨

We worked together back in 2017 and almost 10 years later, we meet in person and release this album, that’s based on Chan’s piece Jo-Ha-Kyu 🎉 we hope you continue to enjoy it as you listen to it 😍 shoutout to Brad @crmediaprod for recording and editing 🤩 and to FrostyHeat packs for preventing my wrist from getting more injured during the endless hours of recording 🤣🫶🏼 by @sarahshinflute

We are so excited to have @triocandesco with us this Sunday! With Sarah Shin on flute, Jessica Thompson on viola, and Jacqueline Kerrod on harp, this unconventional grouping will be presenting the well loved Debussy trio (shown in the video above) along with some lesser known works by Tann and Bax. Please join us in welcoming this Princeton based group to our stage!

We are so happy to have @elainenotseinfeld with us this week as our storyteller!

Thank you for a life-changing 16 years, Emissary Quartet ❤️ by @sarahshinflute

EQ update: We have some bittersweet news to share. This season (2026-2027) will be @sarahshinflute ‘s last with Emissary Quartet.

As a founding member of EQ, Sarah had been such an important pillar of this group. Her musicianship, creativity, and care have shaped Emissary Quartet from the beginning. We are so grateful for everything we have built and shared together.

It’s hard to imagine EQ without her! At the same time, we’re very excited for what’s next for Sarah, and will be cheering her on as she begins this new chapter!

Sarah, thank you for sharing your music, friendship, and everything you’ve poured into this group. It won’t be the same without you!

Be sure to catch Sarah’s last season with EQ this Fall in Boston (Sunday, October 25th at 5:30pm) and in the Spring in Dallas. Check out the link in our bio for more info.
