With my recent trip to see the Mull Rally over the weekend, I’ve been diving back into my ongoing project ‘Sunday Rituals’.
This project started from attending a few events as a spectator, but it quickly began to take on a life of its own. Beyond the racing, I’ve become interested in the people, communities and places that make Scottish motorsport what it is.
With a handful more races in the calendar before the year is out, I’ll keep shooting and tinkering away, occasionally sharing select photos from the body of work.
You can also find the project on my website, with some added context: www.gjaap.com/sunday-rituals
For now, here’s a couple from the previous BTCC stint at Knockhill.
