THÉO MERCIER — IN PROCESS MENTORAT REIFFERS INITIATIVES 2026
@theomercier_official_ nous parle de l’installation qu’il prépare pour l’exposition du Mentorat Reiffers Initiatives 2026, où il présentera son travail aux côtés de celui de son mentor, @thomas_houseago_studio_.
Inspirée par le thème de l’atelier d’artiste, cette installation s’apparente à un jeu de stratégie combinatoire, dans lequel il explore une infinité de combinaisons entre les formes issues de son répertoire artistique.
Pour la première fois, la Fondation @reiffers_initiatives se transformera ainsi en atelier d’artiste. Théo Mercier investira le rez-de-chaussée en y transposant son atelier parisien, non pas à l’identique, mais en le réinterprétant comme un « palais mental », où formes et objets dialogueront comme dans son imaginaire.

@theomercier_official_ talks about the installation he is preparing for the 2026 Reiffers Initiatives Mentorship exhibition, where he will present his work alongside that of his mentor, @thomas_houseago_studio_.
Inspired by the theme of the artist’s studio, the installation takes the form of a combinatorial strategy game, in which he explores an infinite range of combinations of forms drawn from his artistic repertoire.
For the first time, the @reiffers_initiatives Foundation will become an artist’s studio. Théo Mercier will take over the ground floor, bringing his Paris studio into the space, not as an exact replica, but by reimagining it as a “mental palace”, where forms and objects will interact as they do in his imagination.
