Rencontre inoubliable avec @thomas_houseago_studio_ dans son atelier en Suisse, où il crée les œuvres du Mentorat Reiffers Initiatives 2026, à la fonderie d’art @kunstgiesserei_sg de Saint-Gall 👀

Et l’aventure continue à Paris : nous avons la grande joie d’accueillir Thomas Houseago à la Fondation @reiffers_initiatives. Il y installera son atelier sous la verrière pour réaliser de nouvelles œuvres, qui seront présentées dans le cadre de l’exposition.

Nous avons hâte de vous dévoiler les coulisses du montage de l’exposition, qui réunira @thomas_houseago_studio_ et @theomercier_official_ et ouvrira ses portes pendant la semaine d’#artbaselparis !

THÉO MERCIER — IN PROCESS MENTORAT REIFFERS INITIATIVES 2026

@theomercier_official_ nous parle de l’installation qu’il prépare pour l’exposition du Mentorat Reiffers Initiatives 2026, où il présentera son travail aux côtés de celui de son mentor, @thomas_houseago_studio_.

Inspirée par le thème de l’atelier d’artiste, cette installation s’apparente à un jeu de stratégie combinatoire, dans lequel il explore une infinité de combinaisons entre les formes issues de son répertoire artistique.

Pour la première fois, la Fondation @reiffers_initiatives se transformera ainsi en atelier d’artiste. Théo Mercier investira le rez-de-chaussée en y transposant son atelier parisien, non pas à l’identique, mais en le réinterprétant comme un « palais mental », où formes et objets dialogueront comme dans son imaginaire.

THÉO MERCIER — IN PROCESS REIFFERS MENTORSHIP 2026

@theomercier_official_ talks about the installation he is preparing for the 2026 Reiffers Initiatives Mentorship exhibition, where he will present his work alongside that of his mentor, @thomas_houseago_studio_.

Inspired by the theme of the artist’s studio, the installation takes the form of a combinatorial strategy game, in which he explores an infinite range of combinations of forms drawn from his artistic repertoire.

For the first time, the @reiffers_initiatives Foundation will become an artist’s studio. Théo Mercier will take over the ground floor, bringing his Paris studio into the space, not as an exact replica, but by reimagining it as a “mental palace”, where forms and objects will interact as they do in his imagination.

Théo Mercier @theomercier_official_ nous parle de son rapport à son mentor Thomas Houseago @thomas_houseago_studio_ et de la manière dont ce dialogue nourrit la création des œuvres de l’exposition du Mentorat Reiffers Initiatives 2026, qu’il développe actuellement dans son atelier parisien. Théo Mercier @theomercier_official_ nous parle de son processus de création dans son atelier parisien, où prennent forme les œuvres de l’exposition du Mentorat Reiffers Initiatives 2026, aux côtés de son mentor Thomas Houseago @thomas_houseago_studio_.
