What makes this camera interesting is the ability to capture everything around you and choose your angles afterward. No need to know exactly where the action is going to happen.
John put the X5 through its paces while traveling, swimming, filming action and experimenting with the invisible selfie stick and AI-assisted editing.
The highlights? Sharp 360-degree footage, creative perspectives and plenty of flexibility when editing.
The downside? Transferring footage to his phone wasn't always convenient.
We've been testing Insta360 cameras since the X3, and the X5 shows just how far this technology has come.
