In Loki (2021), Season 1, Episode 5, "Journey Into Mystery," Tom Hiddleston delivers one of the most unexpectedly adorable and relatable moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sitting beside Sylvie, portrayed by Sophia Di Martino, in the mysterious Void, Loki suddenly finds himself facing something far more intimidating than any enemy: his own feelings. The awkward glances, nervous smiles, hesitant conversation, and his attempt to create a romantic moment by conjuring a blanket make this scene absolutely unforgettable. What makes it so hilarious is the contrast. This is the same Loki who confidently challenges gods, manipulates powerful people, and dreams of ruling entire kingdoms. Yet sitting next to someone he cares about somehow leaves him completely clueless. Directed by Kate Herron, this iconic Disney+ scene perfectly balances Marvel humor with genuine emotional vulnerability. Because no matter how intelligent, powerful, or confident someone appears, having real feelings for another person can instantly turn them into an awkward teenager. And honestly, watching Loki struggle with something as simple as romance might be one of the most relatable things Marvel has ever given us. Moab 203.9 Race Recap. Unfinished Miles. The hardest part of Moab 240 was the ending I never got to run. It was beautiful, challenging, messy, and everything I love about ultrarunning. There were moments I felt absolutely wrecked, only to find myself running strong again miles later. We had one HELL of a women's race. @ashkickn was absolutely crushing it. @brogansunemploymentworldtour told me at mile 96.5 she was going to quit, only to rally, share some miles, and then take off. Both inspired me to keep digging deeper. I was ready to throw everything I had into those final 42 miles. I wanted us to have the finish and race we'd been fighting for, both for the podium and the Triple Crown CR. At the end, we still had 3 women in the top 5. Mother Nature had other plans. Nearly 200 miles in, conditions on Geyser Pass became legitimately dangerous. Falling trees, insane winds, hail, torrential downpour. I was told the race was canceled after I was almost blown off the ridge of the last big climb. I ended up pairing up with another runner and our pacers, bushwhacking ~9mi off the mountain because conditions were too dangerous for anything else. And just like that, the race was over. HUGE shoutout to my incredible crew and pacers @ryanmiller34 @warnke168 @expat_mel @victoriaallenthebig3 You made this adventure what it was. I couldn't have asked for a better team to share this journey with. Now I feel a mix of being grateful but also disappointed and a little empty. This was the culmination of a year spent chasing a dream. And with another round of cancer surveillance scans Friday, I was holding onto this finish as a little bit of closure before facing another unknown. I started this Triple Crown to test what was possible, but also to prepare myself mentally and physically for whatever life has in store. I thought I'd walk away with answers. Instead, I'm walking away with more unknowns. But the miles were real. The friendships are real. The joy, the grit, the ridiculous adventures, ALL real. 203 miles. No finish line.
