Nate Oats hopes that adding more size can improve their rebounding and defense‼️

At SEC media day Nate Oats told reporters “The emphasis of the offseason was to get bigger, not just taller…we got bigger at the 3 and the 4 spots…hopefully it helps fix the defense and rebounding issues we’ve had.” via Hunter De Siver.

Alabama had issues rebounding and closing out defensive possessions last year. Oats hopes that improving their size at the 3 and 4 spots will improve their rebounding and defense. Being able to play with two bigs then having good positional size on the wing should make a difference in how Alabama rebounds and defends.
