$10,000 raised. 10,000 feet in the air. One incredibly important reminder: life is worth living, and you don’t have to do it alone.
For Suicide Prevention Month, we came together to raise $10,000 for Samaritans, and then we quite literally took a leap of faith — jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet. 🪂
There’s something powerful about doing something that scares you, especially when you’re surrounded by people who remind you that you’re capable of more than you think. This experience reminded me that you can do hard things. You can walk through fear. You can find strength in places you didn’t know existed. And sometimes, the people standing beside you make all the difference.
But this message goes so much deeper than skydiving.
Your life is your creation. The life you dream about, the person you want to become, the joy you hope to feel — you are allowed to believe in those things, even when life feels heavy. Keep showing up. Keep reaching for connection. Keep talking about what you’re going through. Keep giving yourself the chance to see what your life can become.
We need to keep making space for conversations about mental health. We need to check on our people, listen without judgment, and remind each other that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. Because you never truly know what someone is carrying, and sometimes a conversation, a little kindness, or simply being there can mean more than you realize.
To everyone who donated, skydived, cheered us on, or helped bring this day to life: thank you. We didn’t just raise $10,000. We came together for something bigger than ourselves.
May we keep creating lives we’re excited to wake up to. May we keep choosing connection over isolation, hope over silence, and courage even when we’re scared.
And may we always remind one another that there is so much more life left to live. 🤍
