On this episode of Mercedes engineering, when the sunroof or rain tray water passages get clogged up the water then backs up and runs inside car to front and rear floor boards, totally soaking the carpet and the foam and the electrical wires and grounds under there. Luckily there are rubber drain plugs so you gotta pull those and best to leave them out for any current or future water to run out. Luckily the plastic under body trays are there so no debris or rain water from driving can get in. Now I gotta pull off the wheels and fender liners, cut the rubber end off drains and clear them and clear the sunroof drains by passing a wire through them. Bet Mercedes never thought of this when they designed it. 🙄 Story of my life, fixing stuff !!!!
