Part 2 of pulling drain plugs from floor to let the water out on a Mercedes 🙄🙄🙄 taken in Falls Church, Virginia by @rzrrides

On this episode of Mercedes engineering, when the sunroof or rain tray water passages get clogged up the water then backs up and runs inside car to front and rear floor boards, totally soaking the carpet and the foam and the electrical wires and grounds under there. Luckily there are rubber drain plugs so you gotta pull those and best to leave them out for any current or future water to run out. Luckily the plastic under body trays are there so no debris or rain water from driving can get in. Now I gotta pull off the wheels and fender liners, cut the rubber end off drains and clear them and clear the sunroof drains by passing a wire through them. Bet Mercedes never thought of this when they designed it. 🙄 Story of my life, fixing stuff !!!! taken in Falls Church, Virginia by @rzrrides

Took Wisey out to the @lindsayvolkswagen Dulles Octoberfest car show. Rained a bit then let up, had a good time once i got there. However I did break down 2 miles before I got there so I got dropped off on a flat bed tow truck.haaa. thats how to make an entrance. Still participated in the show. Tried to fix it afterwards but no luck. Was there till dark. Got it picked up today and brought the car home. Started to diagnose and my fuel lines and carb etc were good, checked over wires etc. So I got to throwing parts at it. New distributor cap and rotor and guess what, fired right up. I need to start driving these cars with a box of parts and my toolbox. I coukd have fixed it in 5 minutes on the side of the road if i had the parts. .messed up my sunday eve. 🙄💚🇿🇦 #citigolf #citichico #CitiVibez #Volkswagen #lindsayvwdulles taken in Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles by @rzrrides
