Great burgers, always creative, but getting cooked the way you want it can be a challenge. I wish they understood what medium rare is and medium. This is not a first ….smh. The burgers are always tasty, but not always cooked as ordered.

Welcome to part two of my house tour with @claret.and.key

I can’t quite believe how much this house has changed in a week. The wallpaper went up and suddenly everything just clicked.

In my bedroom I wanted something soft and feminine, so I fell for Grace, with its delicate little dots and tiny floral sprigs. There’s a hint of grey running through it that sits so beautifully with my vintage French style furniture.

The girls’ room is where my heart melted a bit. They’ve been begging for a bunk bed forever, so the move felt like the perfect excuse. Of course they chose pink, and I let them pick their own wallpaper too. We pored over about eight designs before they landed on Francis, and seeing how proud they are of “their” room has been the best part of all of this. It’s a queen size, so I can still squeeze in for bedtime stories.

Then there’s the snug, otherwise known as the girls’ playroom and home of our Friday TV dinners. I took a bit of a risk with Bronte in Autumn, because I love a busy print in a small room, and it’s paid off. It’s like bringing the outdoors in, and it makes me want to light a fire and toast marshmallows on a cold evening. There’s no rug, curtains or lamps yet, but it’s already sneaking up the ranks as my favourite room.
