@dinorahmschulte , KARLA SALDAÑA
@karlasaldanao and GIOVANNA PILLACA

ELSA PONCE is a Mexican-born architect, interdisciplinary designer, and educator based in New York, where she leads @studioelsaponce . Operating at the intersection of architecture and social practice, her firm designs community centers, workers’ hubs, and public environments deeply informed by her Latin American heritage, immigrant experience, and values of hospitality and solidarity. Through co-designing spaces with low-wage gig workers and newly arrived immigrants, Ponce critically explores how architecture can navigate the paradoxical impacts of technology and migration—advancing human-centered processes that address systemic inequality and serve both cultural and ecological landscapes.
DINORAH MARTINEZ SCHULTE is a Mexican architect, researcher, and educator who directs
@manufacturamx , a Mexico City design studio centered on digital fabrication and low-carbon construction. Currently a PhD student
