The City of Sherman Wastewater Treatment Plant has been recognized with the Water Environment Federation (WEF) Project Excellence Award.

At WEFTEC 2026 in New Orleans, Kiewit was proud to celebrate the Sherman project team and share more about the project with water and wastewater professionals at the Kiewit booth, where visitors could explore a 3D model of the facility and see how its systems fit together.

The recognition reflects the collaboration behind a project built to support Sherman’s growth.

A treatment plant is easier to understand when people can see how the systems connect. Bringing that model into the conversation gives the discussion something concrete to work from.
