The weeks leading up to this gig have been heavy in a way that’s suffocating.
You could not doom scroll without seeing a post about a dead body.
I could not prepare my set without holding space for all the women who have died and continue to endure violence on a daily without making it in the headlines.
A huge shoutout to @itcamefromthejungle for being a space where I could completely be myself.
