Y3’s third MFL session explored its place in the NC - we ranked the 12 objectives in order of how confident we would feel about delivering them and discussed reasons for this. We then explored ways to make repetition FUN - we used vocabulary learned from our focus topic “La Fête des Rois” to pass a whisper around the class and then a Mexican wave. Everyone also had a go at role-playing sharing pieces of the ‘galette’ to family members. Fantastic oracy work - loved everyone being happy to join in - and you were then ready to tackle reading activities.

Next week we will develop the vocabulary from the session further (and hopefully try some pastries!). Très bien tout le monde!

Yna buom yn archwilio ffyrdd o wneud ailadrodd YN HWYL - fe wnaethom ddefnyddio geirfa a ddysgwyd o'n pwnc ffocws “La Fête des Rois” i basio sibrwd o amgylch y dosbarth ac yna ton Mecsicanaidd. Cafodd pawb hefyd gynnig ar chwarae rôl gan rannu darnau o'r ‘galette’ i aelodau'r teulu. Gwaith llafaredd gwych – roedd hi'n hyfryd gweld pawb yn hapus i gymryd rhan – ac yna roeddech chi'n barod i fynd i'r afael â gweithgareddau darllen. Yr wythnos nesaf, byddwn yn datblygu'r geirfa o'r sesiwn ymhellach (ac yn gobeithio blasu rhai teisennau!). Da iawn bawb.
