Last week, we were honored to welcome Congresswoman Lateefah Simon @replsimon and House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark @repkclark to our De Colores Head Start Center and community partner La Clínica de La Raza @laclinicadelaraza! ❤️🌳
During their visit, they heard firsthand from families, educators, and healthcare professionals about the importance of programs like Head Start and Medi-Cal and their impact on our community.
They also had the chance to see our 34-foot-tall La Catrina de Oakland! 💀🌼
A heartfelt ¡GRACIAS! to our incredible De Colores team for showcasing their work and to our guests for taking the time to listen to our community and recognize the importance of protecting these essential services.
Aquí Estamos y No Nos Vamos! ❤️🌳
