Came home from 10 days Ruby Princess cruise this morning and picked the persimmons, some tomatoes and avocado before the critters get them. Beautiful fall flowers and fruits. #fallflowers #chrysanthemum #persimmon #gaygardener #autumn

![What happens when you are taught that failure is never an option?
You turn into someone who cannot sit still. Someone who keeps climbing until they break, terrified that if they catch their breath, everyone who 'invested' in them will turn away.
This poem is for the part of you that believes rest must be earned, and that slowing down means you aren't strong enough.
When you spend your life performing for other people's validation, you forget what it feels like to just be who you want to be. You think that falling will destroy you, because the people who put you on the pedestal made you believe your worth only exists at the top.
It doesn’t.
You are allowed to choose your climb.
You are allowed to stop paying their debts with your sanity.
What is one worldly expectation you are actively trying to unlearn right now? 🤍🌷✨
