I used to think disappointing results meant I wasn’t good enough.

Which obviously meant I wasn’t qualified to run my own business either!

Yep. That’s how my brain worked. LOL.

My approach?

Plan. Execute. Get results.

And when the results didn’t show?

Beat myself up.

Question whether I was good enough.

Wonder if I should just give up.

Then life slapped me with a six-week time-out.

And I realised something.

A disappointing result isn’t a verdict on who I am.

It’s information.

Something I can learn from and adjust.

So now I’m learning to:

Plan. Act. Observe. Recalibrate.

Sounds simple?

Getting my impatient ass to practise it?

DIFFERENT STORY. HAHA.

And if you’re building something on the side, hoping it’ll become your main thing someday…

Remember, one disappointing result doesn’t mean your sidequest has failed.

Maybe you’ve just hit another pothole.

And that’s something I’m learning to navigate too.
