The Light She Keeps marks a major breakthrough in my studio practice. For years, my work has been questioning what we call reality. I felt it needed a third dimension, and last year I found a way to bring my work into 3D with a reason: to let you move around it and see the same painting from different perspectives.

Our view of reality is shaped by where we stand, our backgrounds and our experiences. I’m grateful for the conversations and responses this piece has already sparked.
