“CREATE YOUR OWN FUTURE “ This mural for @upfest comes from a simple reflection: to celebrate the people who dedicate their lives to creation rather than destruction or greed.

And who better to paint in Bristol than @inkiegraffiti a true legend and one of the kindest souls in our culture. Much respect.

Thank you to everyone involved in making this mural a reality, especially Steve, Emma and Paul, also Tracy for the place to sleep and to @catmichogato for the help.

Força Plural is a tribute to the collective spirit of Nou Barris, Barcelona, a neighborhood built by migration, resilience, and shared effort. In this mural, people of all ages and backgrounds run together in a symbolic relay, passing the baton, supporting each other, moving forward as a community.

As a migrant myself, this project became deeply personal. Painting where locals and newcomers play sports, I saw how shared movement creates connection, trust, and growth. Migration enriches neighborhoods, opens minds, and strengthens our collective humanity. Força Plural is a story of collaboration, empathy, and hope — a celebration of life moving forward together.

Thanks to the team at @rebobinart for making this project possible, and to @nousentiturba and @bcncultura for selecting us and giving us a voice. Special thanks to @catmichogato for her invaluable assistance, and to Jan and Martí for helping us get a strong head start.
.

The Light She Keeps is about the part of ourselves that stays with us, even as our surroundings and perspectives change.

To me, the light in the title is something personal: a sense of self that can be seen differently from different angles, but is never lost. Each view reveals another side of the same person.

Come and see it at TRIEZE, Gallery Different, 14 Percy Street, London W1T 1DR. On view until Sunday 18 October.

The Light She Keeps brings my painting into a new dimension. This wall sculpture uses anamorphic illusion, so the image changes as you move around it. You have to walk, look again and find your own view.

For me, that movement is part of the meaning: reality can look different depending on where you stand and what you bring with you.

See it at TRIEZE, Gallery Different, 14 Percy Street, London W1T 1DR. On view until Sunday 18 October.

The Light She Keeps marks a major breakthrough in my studio practice. For years, my work has been questioning what we call reality. I felt it needed a third dimension, and last year I found a way to bring my work into 3D with a reason: to let you move around it and see the same painting from different perspectives.

Our view of reality is shaped by where we stand, our backgrounds and our experiences. I’m grateful for the conversations and responses this piece has already sparked.

Come and experience it for yourself at TRIEZE, Gallery Different, 14 Percy Street, London W1T 1DR. On view until Sunday 18 October.
