Our renovation is finally complete! 😍
When we started planning our remodel, we knew we didn’t want to make any major structural changes to our home. It was still mostly original from when it was built in 2002, and we really just wanted to update and elevate the space we already had.
We were also thinking long term. Whether we decide to sell or rent our home in the future, we knew it was time to make some updates that today’s buyers and renters are looking for.
Our vision was something neutral, modern, and timeless, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together!
We definitely learned a few things along the way! We almost stayed in the house during construction but ended up finding a rental just days before demolition started. I can’t imagine how we would have managed navigating a construction zone with a busy toddler.
We also learned just how many little decisions go into a renovation. Things you would never even think about until you’re in the middle of it! From cabinet handle placement and how tile is laid to all the unexpected things that come up along the way.
We were so fortunate to have an incredible team helping us through the process. A special shoutout to our designer and friend, Cristina (@cristina.e.design_studio ), who truly helped bring our vision to life. From the big design decisions to the smallest details, she put so much thought and care into our home. I honestly don’t know how we would have done it without her! And a huge thank you to Astrum Construction for all their hard work making it all come together!
