There is a deep silence in the desert that seems to change everything within it. Listening to ALTUS in Namibia, the music seemed to open up in ways I hadn't experienced before.

BREAKING: Evvai in São Paulo wins the Art of Hospitality Award 2026, sponsored by Johnnie Walker Gold, as part of The 50 Best Restaurants Latin America. At Evvai, hospitality is as much an art as the food itself. The restaurant has built its reputation on a distinctive approach to fine dining, where chef Luiz Filipe Souza’s Italian-Brazilian tasting menu is matched by service that is personal, intuitive and full of character. From a hand-picked playlist that moves between Donna Summers and bossa nova to illustrated cards accompanying every course, the details are anything but ordinary. Restaurant manager Jac Pessoa and her team take the time to understand their guests, remembering their preferences and anticipating their needs, all while creating an atmosphere that feels relaxed rather than formal. When speaking about winning the Art of Hospitality Award, Souza says: “It recognises a lot of things that aren’t always celebrated. Often, people talk about the food and the chef, but the people behind a restaurant are what really give it life.” Learn more about Evvai via the link in bio. @evvai_sp @luizfilipe @johnniewalker
Pitbull may be known worldwide as Mr. Worldwide, but the rapper is making sure his children grow up without the pressures that come with his celebrity status. During a recent Billboard interview, the Miami entertainer explained why he refuses to expose his kids to fame before they are old enough to make that decision themselves. “I don’t wanna put them in my world ’cause they’re not built for it yet,” Pitbull shared. The Grammy-winning artist, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, believes posting photos of his children could expose them to unwanted attention. “If you’re a kid, 3 years old, 5 years old, early teens, and you’re taking a picture with me and we’re posting it to the world, I’m letting you into my world now,” he explained. Beyond protecting their privacy, Pitbull worries his fame could interfere with his children’s ability to form genuine friendships. “Now you go to school and everybody like, ‘Oh, ’cause you’re Pitbull’s kid,’” he said. “How are you gonna ever know who’s your friend?” The rapper reportedly has six children and has largely kept their identities and personal lives away from public scrutiny. Despite building an international career with chart-topping hits such as “Timber” and “Give Me Everything,” Pitbull believes his children deserve a childhood that isn’t defined by their father’s success. For now, he wants them to experience life on their own terms and decide whether to embrace the spotlight when they’re older. Parents, do you agree with him on this one?
