Did an excursion out to Placerville with my dad, 3 days two nights. Ended up being perfect to split the two hard days up, this being my second bikepacking trip and my dad’s first one in a few years it was good to have time to rest. Placerville was a nice town, we talked to the gal who works at the convenience store and regulars who stopped for a long time before we found a place to camp for the night. I’m pretty amazed how close all of this is in relative terms to Boise. This will be the first of many adventures to be had🎱
