The People's Medic

Today was a walk in the park! We were grateful to @cityofnlv for inviting us to join their event at Tonopah Park.

Community engagement events like these are so needed within our community. We connected with lots of people who didn’t know about many of the available resources & health education. We’re so happy to be part of it, bringing more awareness, education, & health screenings to our community.

We did over 35 health checks while we were out there & talked with many people interested in learning how to be a TPM Medic. Also saw a few friends from our Sunday outreach. We absolutely loved this event & hope to join more like it.

We want to share a giant, heartfelt thank you to the City of North Las Vegas & everybody we met there for all that you do in our community. & thank you again for inviting us & thinking of us! We’re ever so happy to be in this together.
