Responding to a voter concerned about the national debt, which topped $40 trillion in August, Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico called it a "moral emergency."

He suggested the deficit can be reduced by "closing the billionaire tax loopholes," citing President Donald Trump's "Big, Beautiful, Bill" and ending the "disastrous war in Iran."

Did you notice that his solution to insane “deficit spending” and out of control GOVERNMENT spending, was taxing Americans more. Democrats can’t help themselves. Here’s a reality for every liberal, YOU CANNOT TAX YOUR WAY OUT OF OUT OF CONTROL GOVERNMENT SPENDING! No matter how much tax revenue they bring in, they will spend more. What this guy is advocating is like saying that giving more alcohol to an alcoholic will cure their alcoholism. It won’t. And it never will.

Government subsidies for resource destroying companies, CEO salaries=wage theft & stock buybacks also. The slush fund the Republican Party is treating the treasury like working class taxes created that wealth for social purposes, not for a 1% that has 98+% of wealth or arches, golf trips of a govt mental patient

If you talk about national debt and are not talking about government waist and fraud you are not being serious this is just a democrat talking points it avoids one the major reasons the national debt is out of control. But let’s looks at the actual numbers. Which political party spending increases the national debt the most in the last 50 years? It’s REPUBLICANS. The least spending of all time by precent increase in national debit occurred during Bill Clinton. The most under Ronald Reagan.
