KOKO’S FIRST DAY BACK AT THE BEACH IN 6 MONTHS! 🩵🌊😭🥳 We made it! 🎉 After 6 months, 4 brain surgeries, and so much uncertainty, Koko was FINALLY cleared by our vet to go back to the beach! Watching him play, run, and enjoy the ocean again fills my heart with so much gratitude. • With so much heaviness and loss this year, I want to make sure I celebrate the happy moments and miracles in life too—Koko’s life is truly a miracle. • In May, Koko survived 16 grand mal seizures in one night and multiple major brain surgeries. He temporarily lost his vision, couldn’t walk, and even went into a coma. By the grace of God, he pulled through. 🙏🏽 • Doctors discovered pneumocephalus in Koko’s brain—an extremely rare condition involving air inside the skull, related to his past trauma before I rescued him as a puppy. His emergency surgeries saved his life. His case has been unlike anything his veterinary team had encountered before. 🧠 • A very special thank you to Dr. Williamson @weenqween for saving my angel’s life, and to the incredible teams at @verc.HAWAII and @gardenislandvetmed. I am forever grateful for the care and love you’ve given him. • And to everyone who has sent us prayers, messages, shared his story, or showered us with love—THANK YOU. I will never forget it. We are so grateful for every ounce of support you’ve given us through this journey. 🙏🏽 • HE MADE IT…and look at him now!!!
