Honey bees are just animals. They’re not scheming to sting you. Aggressive behavior isn’t the right word to describe the DEFENSIVE behavior honey bees exhibit. Now when you take food source away from honey bees- they’ll get hangry but will eventually settle down (American Bee Journal June 2026)

This is such a tough post to make and I know so many critics will jump at anything to attack me about but I’m doing this for the other women out there who have experienced sexual assault, and for all the others that I hope this post can help to avoid.
Handling or responding to something like this is not going to be the perfect response in anyone’s eyes and I’ve experienced a lot of bullies in social media so just a heads up if you’re mean in comments, no one needs that, especially around such a sensitive topic so I’m not making space for those types of people.
Other questions people had that I think were not addressed in yesterdays posts we can make another post about. This topic and issue is the most immediately important thing to put out to help women stay safer.
Much love and aloha and while we get lots of messages, we will do our best to compile and get back to people bout anything important in the dive and wildlife community anytime we are made aware of it.

I don't think I'll ever know how to explain what Akanksha Choudhary means to me without feeling a little silly about it. Because how do you explain loving a girl who doesn't know your name, who has never met you, and who probably doesn't even know that you exist?

And yet, how do you not love her when you see the way she shows up for her people? When you see her eyes fill with tears, the way she looks at the people who have loved her from behind their screens, and the way she continues to show up even when things aren't easy.

Thank you for giving us moments worth holding on to. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for letting us witness little pieces of your journey and giving us so many reasons to be proud of you.
And, Akku? I hope life gives you back every bit of happiness you've unknowingly given to us.
