One thing I discussed during my interview with newly appointed Lake County Board District 9 member Brandon X. Ewing was the importance of millennials creating and strengthening our own sense of community.
We talk a lot about wanting change, support, and opportunities, but how often are we actually showing up for one another?
For me, this interview wasn’t just about politics. It was about friendship, community, accountability, and recognizing that we all have a role to play in building the spaces and connections we want to see.
