🎤🐛 EVERYTHING ON THE TABLE | PART 2

What exactly does a Lake County Board member do? 🤔

In Part 2 of my conversation with newly appointed District 9 Board Member @bxewing , we break down the responsibilities of the position and what serving the community really involves.

And as his longtime friend, I share why I initially had some reservations. Not because I didn’t believe in him, but because I understood the weight of the responsibility.

💬 How well do you know what your local elected officials actually do?

🐛💚 WHO’S SHOWING UP FOR OUR GENERATION?

One thing I discussed during my interview with newly appointed Lake County Board District 9 member Brandon X. Ewing was the importance of millennials creating and strengthening our own sense of community.

We talk a lot about wanting change, support, and opportunities, but how often are we actually showing up for one another?

For me, this interview wasn’t just about politics. It was about friendship, community, accountability, and recognizing that we all have a role to play in building the spaces and connections we want to see.

Now I want to hear from YOU! 👀

Do you feel like our generation has lost its sense of community, or have we simply changed the way we connect? And what do you think we can do to bring that sense of togetherness back?

🎤 More clips from my conversation with @bxewing coming soon!

EVERYTHING ON THE TABLE! 🎤💚

From the red carpet to conversations about community, there’s always a story worth telling!

This past weekend, I returned home to sit down with my longtime friend @bxewing as the newly appointed Lake County Board Member for District 9, for an in-depth conversation about leadership, community, civic engagement, accountability, and the importance of giving back to the places that helped shape us.

We covered a lot of ground, shared some laughs, and had some meaningful discussions about the past, present, and future of our communities.

Despite a few technical difficulties, we made it happen! 🙌🏽

A special THANK YOU to @trueconglomerate for helping bring this conversation to life!

Also my niece Alivia for help as well. 🥰

🎥 Our full interview is available on @lakecountymediagroup facebook page, and I’ll be sharing some of my favorite moments and highlights right here!

Clips coming soon! 👀🎬

Different conversations. Same passion for storytelling.

Behind every champion is someone who poured into them! 🥊💚

I caught up with professional boxer Brandon @cannonnation “The Cannon” Adams at the Team Watson Charity Celebrity Softball Game! ⚾️🎤

I asked Brandon what it means to pour back into the community and, more importantly, who poured into him?

From his mother and teachers to the people in his community, Brandon reflected on those who helped shape his journey.

A reminder that success isn’t achieved alone, and sometimes the greatest way to honor those who believed in us is to pour that same love and support into someone else. 💚

A little sunshine, a little softball, and something to sip on! 🥵⚾️🥤

You know I wiggled my way over to the Team Watson Charity Celebrity Softball Game, and BABY, it was HOT out there! ☀️😂

Thankfully, @nebula9vodka owned by @meagangood Keith Davis was on the scene keeping us refreshed! 💜

I even got a chance to snap a picture with one of the co-owners!

Great energy, great people, and a great cause supporting @therightwayfoundationla 💚

Make sure you check out Nebula Nine and show them some love!

Champions show up inside AND outside the ring! 🥊💚

I caught up with two-time welterweight world champion @showtimeshawnp “Showtime” Shawn Porter at the Team Watson Charity Celebrity Softball Game! ⚾️🎤

Shawn showed nothing but love and appreciation for the Watson family as we talked about what it means to be part of an event that brings people together for a greater purpose.

Beyond the competition, it’s about community, meaningful relationships, and supporting organizations like The RightWay Foundation, which works to empower transition-age foster youth.

Because sometimes the biggest impact we make has nothing to do with winning a championship. 💚

We talked about the success of their film, @thatone.summer That One Summer, where audiences can watch it, and the journey of bringing the project to life.
