![Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) menghentikan sementara perdagangan saham (trading halt) pada hari ini (16/10), setelah Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan (IHSG) anjlok hingga 8 persen. Mengutip pengumuman resmi BEI, penghentian sementara ini dilakukan untuk menjaga perdagangan tetap berjalan secara wajar, sesuai Peraturan Nomor II-A tentang Perdagangan Efek Bersifat Ekuitas.
Tekanan terhadap pasar saham Indonesia terjadi setelah Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) membuka konsultasi terkait usulan penurunan status pasar modal Indonesia dari Emerging Market menjadi Standalone Market.
Dalam pernyataan resminya, MSCI menyoroti persoalan transparansi struktur kepemilikan saham dan dugaan aktivitas perdagangan terkoordinasi yang dinilai mengganggu kepercayaan investor. MSCI menilai berbagai reformasi yang telah diumumkan otoritas Indonesia belum menunjukkan dampak yang konsisten.
Jika penurunan status ini benar-benar diberlakukan, Indonesia berpotensi kehilangan posisi sebagai salah satu pasar saham Emerging Market di Asia dan masuk kategori Standalone Market, bersama sejumlah negara yang pasar modalnya tidak lagi masuk dalam klasifikasi pasar berkembang MSCI. Perubahan ini berpotensi memengaruhi minat investor institusi global dan aliran modal asing ke Indonesia.
Namun, keputusan final MSCI masih menunggu hasil konsultasi yang akan diumumkan paling lambat 30 Juni 2027. Sementara itu, hingga saat ini Pihak Istana juga telah ikut memantau gejolak pasar saham Indonesia. Kepala Bakom RI, Syahganda Nainggolan bilang Pemerintah masih mengamati perkembangan pasar sebelum menyampaikan tanggapan lebih lanjut, as per @antaranewscom. Your thoughts? 💭
