Because of international sanctions, foreign visa and Mastercards generally don’t work in Russia. That means you can’t simply use your regular bank card to pay for things like food, transport, or shopping.
So, I went to get a Russian bank card to make traveling around the country easier! Here’s how the process works for foreigners visiting Russia.

Traitor. You visit a country that is murdering Ukrainians and you’re proud of it.

Actually it’s not hard to get a bank card after the airport… T bank can actually come to you to create a bank card and SIM card at any location if you book an appointment. I needed a card and they came to where l was living free of charge 🤌🏾✨

Is this in October 2026? Last year you could not get a sim card without waiting for 15 days AFTER doing your biometrics. Can anyone confirm it? Even a debit card would make a huge difference for cabs, buses, etc.

People got lazy and cheap on the buyers end. The skill was probably not passed down from master to apprentice so on. Lots of reason. That also takes time and these days people rather have something that looks like a sterile room that something beautiful to look at that actually took skill and time.
