Part 1 ended with a broken heart. We didn’t get the house. 💔

We told ourselves it wasn’t meant to be, and decided to start saving money for another place. We officially told our amazing landlord that we were giving up our upstate rental, and we broke the news to my in-laws that we wouldn’t have a place up there anymore (and would just be visiting them a lot more often!)

We had fully accepted it. We were moving on.

But literally TWO HOURS after we told my in-laws… my phone rang.

It was the listing agent.

The first offer fell through.

Then, the second offer fell through.

She said if we were willing to come up a bit on our price, the house was ours.

And we said yes!

Here we are today, so in love, so happy, and officially Upstate NY homeowners! ✨
