THE FIGHT CONTINUES! βπΎ KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
Last nightβs Power Coalition Workshop was nothing short of PHENOMENAL! It was a powerful sight to see a room filled with Black and Brown brothers and sisters from East Oakland coming together to become educated, informed, and empowered concerning the political issues impacting our city, our state, and our communities!
A special thank you to the incredible women of the League of Women Voters for pouring such valuable knowledge into our community, breaking down whatβs on the ballot, and helping us better understand the political process and the power of our vote!
The Bible declares in Hosea 4:6, βMy people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.β As a church, we understand that our responsibility goes beyond the four walls of the sanctuary. We are called not only to preach the Gospel but also to equip God's people with the knowledge and resources necessary to make informed decisions that impact their families, their futures, and their communities.
At B.A.S.I.C. Ministry Church, we're not just talking about change. We're accepting the challenge to become part of the solution!
An educated community is an empowered community, and an empowered community can change generations!
