IT HAD TO HAPPEN! 🙌🏽

You may not understand why you had to go through what you went through. The pain, the rejection, the betrayal, the suffering. But one thing is certain: God can use even the most painful parts of your story to reveal His glory.

What was meant to destroy you can become the very testimony that shows others the power of God to heal, deliver, and restore.

What happened to you doesn't have to be the end of your story. God can still get the glory!

The Movement Continues!!

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE DAY OF HOPE, EMPOWERMENT, AND TRANSFORMATION!
Today, our Operation Change: Second Chance Success Summit, hosted by House of Bread Outreach Center and B.A.S.I.C. Ministry, was truly phenomenal!

We witnessed the power of community, compassion, and second chances as we had the privilege of pouring into more than 20 brothers and sisters currently on parole or probation, encouraging them to believe that their past does not have to determine their future. A special thank-you to our powerful keynote speaker, Pastor Ray Romprey, for delivering a message of hope and inspiration, and to our amazing panelists Mr. Charles, Mr. Curtis Ervin, Mr. Kevin Roberson, Mr Butler, and moderator, Reverend Harry Louis Williams, for sharing wisdom, real-life experiences, and practical steps toward successful reentry. We also want to extend a major God bless to BMO Bank for providing valuable financial education and resources, along with every presenter, community partner, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this event possible. Today was about more than hosting a summit; it was about restoring hope, rebuilding lives, creating opportunities, and reminding people that God is still in the business of transforming lives!
This is why we do what we do! To God be the glory for everything accomplished today, and may the seeds planted continue to produce lasting transformation throughout our community. SECOND CHANCES. SUCCESSFUL FUTURES. CHANGED LIVES!

STRONGER PEOPLE. STRONGER FAMILIES. STRONGER COMMUNITIES.

IT'S ALL LOVE! ❤️ PASTOR MU

GOD'S LAW LEGISLATES LOVE! 🔥 While the laws of the United States can hold you accountable for harming your neighbor, they cannot command you to love your neighbor. But God's law goes deeper! God doesn't just command us not to hurt one another; He commands us to LOVE one another! Why? Because God doesn't just judge the actions of our hands; He examines the motives of our hearts! You can obey the law of the land and still have hatred in your heart. You can do good deeds and still have the wrong motives. Man judges what he can see, but God judges what is within! In this powerful clip from his sermon series "It's All Love," Pastor Mu reminds us that love is not just a suggestion from God; it's a commandment! And if we truly belong to Him, love must be more than something we preach it must be something we practice! ❤️🔥

THE FIGHT CONTINUES! ✊🏾 KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

Last night’s Power Coalition Workshop was nothing short of PHENOMENAL! It was a powerful sight to see a room filled with Black and Brown brothers and sisters from East Oakland coming together to become educated, informed, and empowered concerning the political issues impacting our city, our state, and our communities!

A special thank you to the incredible women of the League of Women Voters for pouring such valuable knowledge into our community, breaking down what’s on the ballot, and helping us better understand the political process and the power of our vote!

The Bible declares in Hosea 4:6, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” As a church, we understand that our responsibility goes beyond the four walls of the sanctuary. We are called not only to preach the Gospel but also to equip God's people with the knowledge and resources necessary to make informed decisions that impact their families, their futures, and their communities.

At B.A.S.I.C. Ministry Church, we're not just talking about change. We're accepting the challenge to become part of the solution!

An educated community is an empowered community, and an empowered community can change generations!
