#NEWS: Police in Germany have launched an investigation into a suspected sexual assault after a robot allegedly controlled by two teenage boys was accused of grinding against a 16 year old girl and touching her buttocks.
The incident reportedly occurred late Sunday night outside a fast food restaurant in Cologne, in western Germany. According to police, the robot’s 16 year old owner and his 19 year old companion allegedly filmed the incident and livestreamed it on social media.
The girl was outside the restaurant with female friends, ages 17 and 18, between 11:45 p.m. and midnight when the approximately four foot tall robot allegedly approached her from behind and made unwanted contact.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and located the alleged suspects. Police also reportedly found the robot inside the trunk of a vehicle.
