🐾 PAW & ORDER: Dogs in Hot Cars 🚔
Leaving a dog in a vehicle can quickly become dangerous, even if the air conditioning is running. Temperatures inside a car can rise 20° in just a few minutes, putting your pet at risk of heatstroke or death.
In our latest episode of Paw & Order, Senior Animal Control Officer Chris Lutgen explains Lake Havasu City’s animal cruelty ordinance, the dangers of leaving pets in vehicles, and what to do if you see a dog locked in a hot car.
Have questions about this or another animal-related issue? Call 928-855-4111 and ask to speak with an Animal Control Officer.
Stay informed, stay safe, and look out for our four-legged friends! 🐾
