Church
Wrote this yesterday with @megmcree we were talking about how crazy it is that when you say a single word to someone it makes every single human feel something different. That is WILD to me. We thought of so many words to use for this song and CHURCH is what we picked. I mean we could have written BEACH, or BAMA or BIBLE…anything BLUE, BICYCLE, etc. (heavy on the B’s I know🤦♂️) but my brain is blowing up just thinking about how every word is like a 18 wheeler carrying millions of memories, feelings, smells with them. AND all unique to all of us.
Favorite line: “church…hospital or pageant?
@megmcree said “pageant” and I’m jealous because it’s genius.
Just HAD to put this where somebody could hear it.
What does church make you think? Bad and good please share. And please…don’t be mean to each other. Be nice and honest and have mercy. This could be cool. 🙏💪

Love this song. It’s true to the core…Church would Jesus? Hmmm that says volumes. Love God how you want to. In a building, outside with nature…you decide. Just decide ❤️

I think of home and family- our church is a special place to us. We have met our life long friends and seen the Lord do POWERFUL things here. One of our greatest gifts here to our family

Church is like exercise. I hate the thought of doing it and getting ready for it but once I’ve done it, I feel a whole heck of a lot better!

Church-always the best feeling. Growing up with your church community 58 years later still makes me feel whole because of our dear Lord. Love your song!
