How many times can you fail before those closest to you start to doubt even? I actually don’t know the answer because it hasn’t happened despite going 0/3 on my predicted marathon finish times this year. Not just by a small amount either, but sometimes by more than 10 minutes off. If my wife stopped believing in me then she wouldn’t have been at the track with me at sunrise, twice a week, all summer long. The moment you stop putting your foot on the gas and question your commitment is when people will stop giving you their all. That hasn’t happened because even with my setbacks, despite running a marathon 13 minutes slower than I did on Sunday this very year, I knew we’d get here. Proving people wrong feels great, no doubt about it, but proving those right who you love and who have stood in your corner through it all is much sweeter. That hug after getting the OTQ is only a matter of time. This I know Shoutout Rory Phil Jackson Linkletter for his play calls @rory_linkletter gotta love winning

In the old days, I would be walking the streets of New York before dawn because I was coming home from all my favorite clubs… Nell's, Area, Odeon, MK, Tunnel, Danceteria. No Limelight for this Catholic boy. The one time I went there... I saw some very decadent and deviant sex and drug activities going on in the former residents chambers where the priests slept. Another time I was just walking by with my pal Richard Harris... there was a huge line waiting outside. I had a confrontation with some drug dealer and he pulled out a gun and stuck it in my ribs. Now I walk the streets of New York before dawn either to get my steps in or cuz I can't sleep. 🤣 Boy... I miss the old (younger) days!!! ♥️ 🤪💃🕺🏻🍸🍻🥴
