I 'see' a surveillance culture where base greed—piggishness—has become the primary political and cultural metric.
In this piece:
The multi-eyed head means 'they'are always watching, but the messy, drooling mouth shows they are only consuming. Over-consumption of the culture itself.
Words, words and more word puzzles keep us confused and nothing that is said or written is strictly true. It adds to the anxiety and stress that comes with modern day life.
Gold underpins corruption, not just as currency, but as the sanctification of greed. It is rich and beautiful, but stamped with Fear. A society that only values being rich is a society fueled by insecurity and decay (hence the burned matches and the skull below). This is the currency of an anxious culture.
