funny how I feel most myself in a dress that a woman in the 50s probably wore whilst writing love letters to her man at war by candlelight, of course with a cup of tea that had gone cold and a record playing softly in the background perhaps she wore it the morning she received his letter back or the day she decided she was better off without him anyways, I wore it to get matcha 🍵 thanks for taking care of the dress, Betty 💌
Claressa Shields Called a “Clown Ass Sidechick” by Account Fans Mistook for Love and Hip Hop’s Mona Scott Blogged by: Grace L. Claressa Shields was riding high off her GWOATS auditions when an X account under the name Mona Scott hit her with a string of insults, and a lot of people instantly assumed the Love & Hip Hop boss had joined the pile on. The account does not appear to belong to the famed producer. The two time Olympic gold medalist took to X after the Detroit casting call for GWOATS: Fight For Your Life, her new reality competition series with Zeus Network. “Those women really wanted it! The fights, the stories, the pain! I seen so much of myself in those girls!” she wrote, before thanking Zeus “for believing in my vision.” In a follow up post, she called it an “amazing production” and added, “This is what these women need! I’m humbled!!!” The show puts women in the ring for a shot at the GWOAT herself, and Zeus has made clear applicants do not need to be professional boxers. Shields has been pushing the idea for months, first offering $100,000 to any woman who thought she could beat her. Not everyone was clapping. A verified account named Mona Scott, with the handle MonaTheOne1954, replied to Shields and Zeus with “Guttah Rat [expletive] FOH.” Shields kept it cool. “It actually wasn’t! Very organized. The girls earned their spots,” she shot back. The account came back harder. “You’re a clown and you are an embarrassment to the sport of Women’s Boxing!!!! You want to be a Baddie so Bad…But You Ain’t Bad Enough…Clown [expletive] Sidechick,” it wrote. Shields laughed it off. “You so mad ain’t got no motion. I’m very bad! Actually the baddest! Now keep tweeting,” she replied. The Baddie line is a shot at Zeus, the network behind the Baddies franchise. The sidechick line goes after Claressa Shields’ relationship with Papoose, the Brooklyn rapper who split from his longtime wife Remy Ma. The romance has kept Shields in the crossfire online, including a back and forth with 50 Cent earlier this year.

William Shatner is quite the wordsmith. The “Star Trek” actor, 95, will release a uniquely personal book Oct. 27, USA TODAY can exclusively announce. Each chapter of “Wisdom & Worries” contains reflections in verse, plus a note of context for what inspired it. Shatner described the process of writing the book as a path to self-discovery, meditating on his religious upbringing, his career in Hollywood, his passion for science and his 2021 trip to space. “Wisdom & Worries” is another addition to Shatner’s already lengthy bibliography, which includes memoirs “Star Trek Memories,” “Boldly Go,” “Long Live And…” and many others.
