Soft Opening of Good Alley Reserve in Arcadia tonight... Some highlights. Some lowlights. But that's what ya get with a soft opening sometimes. I really like the room tho. ✌️ by @nashdaddy5

I know I say this a lot. But this is my new favorite lunch spot... Neighborly Kitchen and Market isn't quite a food hall. It isn't quite a food court. It's way better than any of those things! Neighborly is a brilliant "coming together" of different restaurants bringing their own unique cuisines under one kitchen, one roof, in one neighborhood at a time...

Props to my friend Andrea Uyeda and her partners for birthing this concept. It's such a solid winner! 🏆🏅 #yelp #eater #foodbeast #dailyfoodfeed #beneighborly taken in Neighborly - Kitchen & Marketplace by @nashdaddy5

Tip for all husbands: Whenever I'm deservedly in trouble with the wife, a classic strawberry filled donut from Donut Man makes all things better!! Okay, it's not a "Get out of jail free" card, but it's close... 🤪✌️ taken in The Donut Man by @nashdaddy5

This is the best compliment I can give... "This place totally tastes like Japan." But this is more than Japanese comfort food. Creamy chicken broth ramen, not pork bone like you're used to. Charbroiled chicken roasted over an open flame to make an amazing chicken rice bowl, and the best Soboro Don in town... #eaterla #yelpla #ramen #sawtelle #eeeats taken in Torisoba Sumiya by @nashdaddy5

I've been to 2 soft opening restaurants in Pasadena in 2 days and I'm only talking about one... Dalah. @dalahpasadena has only been open 4 weeks, yet IMHO, it is now the best Thai Restaurant in Pasadena. Dalah is a bit different than most Thai places, but that's why I like it. The menu is tight and slightly pricier, but the quality shines with that price increase. And... This is the Best Beef Salad I've had anywhere. The chef told me that the Beef Salad is his favorite dish to make and it shows... Steak that's perfectly cooked that's not over dressed or overly seasoned. The wings were plump and juicy and the mango sticky rice was light and refreshing. There's a nice restraint in his cooking. Let the ingredients speak. And they do... #eaterla #yelpla #sgveats #pasadena #dalah by @nashdaddy5
